Our last workshop, held on March 9th, was a huge success! We had a great time and the furniture pieces our students worked on turned out beautiful. Because we had so much fun we have planned two more workshops and if demand requires it we plan to add several more. We currently have two future dates available. Class sizes are limited so book your spot now! Call or stop by the store to purchase a full day of furniture painting lessons. You can also click below to secure your spot through Paypal.

Join us April 27th OR June 1st from 9 am to 3 pm. Bring your own piece of furniture and get hands on! You will leave at the end of the workshop with a completed piece of furniture. We will offer many different color options, so there are lots of possibilities for your furniture.
We will provide:
- all tools
- all supplies
- lunch
- drinks
- snacks
We will demonstrate:
How to glaze- This piece has a black glaze on the top. We will offer a complete demonstration on how to use glaze. We will provide sample boards so you can get hands on and practice this technique.
How to crackle- This piece has a crackle finish that was achieved with a crackle medium and a sea sponge. We will explain the whole process and then let you practice it in your very own sample board. All tools and supplies will be provided.

How to dry brush- This piece was given a super aged patina using a dry brush technique. We will demonstrate this technique from start to finish.
How to paint metal- Want to paint the hardware on a piece of furniture? We will show you exactly how to do it right! From prep work to the proper paint.
In addition to all of these demonstrations we will also explain how to select a quality paint brush, the different types of primers and how and when to use them, and selecting the right paint.
Rules- Each person is allowed one piece of furniture. It must be a small enough piece that you can easily carry it by yourself. It needs to be cleaned well before you arrive at the workshop. The piece must be natural wood (no painted furniture, no laminate furniture). The cost is $175 per person. The workshop must be paid in full in advance. $35 is non-refundable. If you need to cancel you must do so 72 hours in advance for a refund.

Your workshops are strictly painting, not refinishing, correct?
That is correct.
I AM INTERESTED IN YOUR APRIL 27TH WORK SHOP.
PLEASE ADVICE ME HOW TO FIND A GOOD SIZE FURNITURE?
THANK YOU
Where are your workshops located. I cannot find an address anywhere on your website. I am in Pennsylvania and I would be very interested in attending your workshops, if there is a reasonable commute. Btw, I just accidently came across your website when googling about “painting weather temperatures” … what a happy accident! Great site. LMK about your address. TY! Mel
Sorry Mel, I am in California.
Hi Deana, I would like to know when your next workshop is. I just found your website and realize I just missed the last one!
Please let me know. Thanks, Ava
Hi Ava,
I think we are going to take a break for the summer months due to the heat and the fact that I am 25 weeks pregnant. We hope to start up again in the fall though, so please check back with us. I’ll be sure to post information about the workshop well in advance.
