Butcher block table

This little table was super beat up when it was dropped off at our workshop. The old varnish was cracked and chipped. The top was badly stained. (I forgot to take a before picture, so you’ll just have to take my word for it.) We painted the base a subtle grey. The color is called Roycroft Mist Gray by Sherwin Williams. The top was done in Black Swan also by Sherwin Williams.

I think it turned out so cute! It was painted for a client, but I so wish I could keep it for myself. It would make a perfect center island in my kitchen. Since I live directly above our store I hauled this little table up the stairs to my loft and tried it out in my kitchen. Yup, I definitely need something like this.
