Monograms are so sweet
Starting a blog has been such a rewarding experience. I am regularly surprised by people’s kindness and the community that has been created through blogging. I have met so many new people and I feel like I’ve made friends too; this post is a testament to that.
The fact that it is embroidered is such a personal touch and her thoughtfulness really brightened my day. The gift was chosen so carefully it was almost as if it had come from a long time friend. It is so amazing the people I have met through blogging and the experiences that I have had. It is really like a community.
The package arrived a few days ago and it was wrapped as sweet as the gift that I found inside of it. Attached was a hand written note that was really heartfelt.

Sarah authors a blog called Hyacinth for the Soul. She is the lovely lady who sent me this fabulous gift. Her blog is definitely worth a visit.
Below you will see how gorgeous the towel looks hanging from the towel bar in my guest bath. I just love the way it looks hanging atop my dark brown towel.

The first three people to comment on this post will receive a special gift as well. So don’t be shy!

Deana, I don’t count as one of the first three to respond.
But thank you for this beautiful post about my PIF gift to you. I’m thrilled that the monogramed hand towel pleased you and is something that goes well in your home. Thank you for your very kind words. I love visiting your blog! It is full of creativity and inspiration. I’ve mentioned this post on my latest post. I hope you get lots of response. It’s a fun thing to do in Blogville. All the best to you…Sarah

Deana,
Your gift is simply beautiful. I have always enjoyed monogrammed items as they take you way back. Monagrammed hankies are one of my favorites. On my wedding day I carried a white lace hankie with a monogramed “A” on it in pink. It was a nice touch and took me back to the vintage things I love. Enjoy your new treasure and may it always bring a smile to your face!
