Stickers on furniture????? How to remove them.
A client of mine just dropped off this monstrosity and asked that I paint it brown. She must think I am a miracle worker!! This piece of furniture was in really bad condition and took a lot of work; many, many hours of sticker removal, wood filler and sanding. It turned out really cute, not perfect, but cute. I distressed the heck out of it once the paint was dry and the few imperfections blend in with the shabby look. It is definitely not lacking in character or charm.

*TIP: For sticker removal I used a blow dryer. Get it just warm enough to loosen the adhesive and it makes them easy to peel off. Be careful not to get it too hot though or you will peel the paint with it.

Looks great!
Blow dryer tip is very welcomed… I also use a product called “goof off”. Works on most sticky goo and doesn’t effect the paint.
great tip! thanks!
that’s a lot of stickers, your project turned out terrific!
