Filet Mignon with Cognac-Cream Sauce
The last time I went to visit my parents my dad opens the fridge and asks, “Do you wanna take home some parsley.” I say, “Sure, I don’t know what I’ll make with it, but I’m sure I can find a recipe.” Next thing you know I’m on my way home carrying a market tote full of spices, parsley, cream, three pieces of filet mignon and a Williams-Sonoma cookbook. I should go visit my mom and dad everyday!!
Last night I prepared the recipe that the two of them swore was amazing and I must admit they were right. It was delicious! I think the above picture says it all. The meal was quite tasty. Below is the recipe. I scanned it from the Williams-Sonoma Steak & Chop cookbook. The picture is probably not very clear. If you are interested in the recipe send me an email and I’ll be glad to share it with you.
