Hooked on Fireworks!

As far back as I can remember I have always loved fireworks; the colors, the loud bang, the sparkles, it all amazes me. Anytime I see them it brings a huge smile to my face as I stare up at the sky in awe. The fourth of July is one of my very favorite holidays. I love the hot summer sun, a BBQ with family and friends, a game of horseshoes, the American flag waiving proudly and the grand finale that tops it all off; fireworks!!

I love watching fireworks too
We just saw some last night for Canada Day 
The grand finale is always the most impressive display!!

I love the 4th too! I lived in DC as a child, and have very fond memories of seeing the grand fireworks display at the White House (or wherever they were), and listening to John Philip Sousa music. Now that we are in Atlanta, we have a great tradition of seeing the fireworks on a golfcourse with many of our friends.

Today we were laughing about our (now 6′2″) son at his first fireworks show. He ran right the front, up against the retaining ropes. At the first boom he high tailed it back to mom’s lap and stayed there, hand over ears, until the end.

This is so cool!! love this.
I live very close to a huge park where we get to hear and see all the fantastic fireworks!!

Yep…something magical about them! We are going to a freinds house…he spent close to a grand in fireworks!

I love fireworks, too! Those little silvery sparklers will always hold a very special place in my heart - so many good memories!

Love fireworks! We lit off some of our own this year that were fantastic. It really does seem like a celebration. Thanks for the show.
